1994 Straits Settlement Fine Silver Ingot

925 Fine Silver Ingot. $10. Proof, with certificate no.1463 and display box. Proof struck by The Singapore Mint. The original $10 note was issued by The Government of the Straits Settlement on 1st January 1931. The note was printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson and Company Limited of London, with size of 160 x 88mm.

End of World War II Commemorative 925 Fine Silver Proof ingot, with certificate no.0288 and display box. Proof, struck by The Singapore Mint. 1995 marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the war. From one angle, the latent shows the British flag and the serene city under the British colony before the war. The other latent depicts the Japanese military flag against a scene of planes dropping bombs onto the city, signifying the fall of Singapore. The other side of the ingot shows the victory celebration after the Japanese surrended.

Featuring the 'Harmony' sculpture symbol of prosperity and abundance for the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, and its tenants. CS-SIP which was jointly unveiled by SM Lee Kuan Yew and China's Vice-Premier Li Lanqing in 2001. This coin represents the 10 years of close bilateral relations of the 2 nations. The sculptor is Mr Sun Yu Li. This commemorative Cupro-Nickel Proof-like coin is produced by The Singapore Mint, with display box and certificate.
